Five Steps to Use to Diversity & Inclusion to Improve Your Bottom Line

In 2016 Techstars partnered with Chase for Business to survey more than 700 founders of tech startups from around the world to gain insight into the challenges they face when working to build a diverse and inclusive company.

The report concluded that while diversity is important to 72% of founders, only 10% are taking action, and only 23% of founders say that a diverse workforce improves financial performance.

Walk away from this session with five ways (below) to be a diversity leader in your startup & examples of how it’s impacted the bottom line of the businesses of our panelists.

  • How to hire
  • How to retain
  • How to evaluate pay
  • How to offer flexible benefits
